With over 24 years of experience in General Dentistry & Oral surgery, Dr. Cornelius Peethala brings a wealth of expertise to Poulton Dental Care. He has held oral surgery appointments at several hospitals across the United Kingdom, including Blackpool Victoria Hospital, where he provided essential surgical services to both NHS and private patients.

After graduating in dentistry in 2000 in India, Dr. Cornelius relocated to the United Kingdom to pursue advanced training in oral surgery. Since 2006, he has served in various specialist oral surgery positions and is currently employed as a part-time Specialty Dentist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Preston Hospital. In this role, he manages complex oral surgical cases and plays a key role in mentoring and training junior dental professionals.

Dr. Cornelius also accepts referrals from local dental practitioners for a wide range of oral surgery procedures and dental implant treatments.

Awards and Recognitions
Dr. Cornelius has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship in Dental Surgery from both the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. In addition to his clinical work, he contributes to the profession as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, supporting the next generation of dental surgeons.
